Specimen Itinerary 1.(5 day) Monday to Friday

 

Monday Am. Coach will leave school and travel to Portsmouth.
Pm. Visit the D.Day Museum at Southsea.
Board the Wightlink ferry for a 40 min crossing of
the Solent. Arriving at the hotel in time for dinner.
Eve. Free time for beach or walk.

Tuesday Am. Whippingham Church followed by Osborne House
(to be arranged by schools). Lunch in the grounds.
Pm. Robin Hill Country Park, a conservation site.
Eve We suggest a Victorian Town Trail.

Wednesday Am. A morning at Amazon World. Lunch on site.
Pm. Alum Bay (Needles). Exploration of geological
features and coloured sands. Glass making demo.
Eve. Theatre show at Shanklin (optional).

Thursday Am. Carisbrooke Castle (to be arranged by schools) with lunch in the grounds.
Pm. Shanklin Chine and Coastal Walk.
Eve. Party Evening at the hotel for staff and children.

Friday Am. Lilliput Doll Museum. Board the Wightlink ferry.
Lunch on the ferry. Homeward Journey.

 

 
Specimen Itinerary 2.(4 day) Friday to Monday
Friday. A Visit via Wightlink ferry to Portsmouth Historic
Dockyard (Mary Rose, HMS Warrior
or HMS Victory). 
Eve. Free time for beach or walk.

Pm. Afternoon at Alum Bay with a glass demo.
Eve. We suggest a Victorian Town Trail.

Godshill itself. Lunch at park in Shanklin
Pm. Shanklin Chine and Coastal Walk.

Monday Am. Coach will leave school and travel to Portsmouth.
Pm. Board the Wightlink for a 40 min crossing of the
Solent. A Visit to Carisbrooke Castle (to be arranged by school).
Eve. Free time for the beach or a walk to Culver Cliffs.

Lunch in the grounds.
Pm. Bembridge Life Boat Station and Walk the Duver.
Eve. Island Brass Rubbing Centre

Lunch at area.
Pm. Alum Bay (Needles). Exploration of geological features and coloured sands.
Boat Trip around the Needles.
Eve. Free Evening.

Lunch on site.
Pm. Shanklin Chine and coastal walk.
Eve. Party night for the children and staff.

before boarding the Wightlink ferry on your PM homeward journey.
