HMS Alliance
This excellent visit includes good hands on experience for children, giving a
good insight to life aboard a submarine.There is history sessions available as
presentations or role-play. Pupils investigate the impact of war on the crew,
also relatives coping with the home front.
Mary Rose Exhibition
A Tudor Time capsule is created at the Mary Rose with a self guide tour of
the exhibition with life size reconstructions of the Barber/Surgeons cabin and
a portion of the upper and main decks of the ship/ displaying over 1000
artifacts relating to life on board a Tudor warship. See the Hull of Mary rose
from a air-conditioned viewing gallery and hear the story of the ship from a
personal acoustiguide.

Ordered in 1758 the same year as Lord Nelson's Birth, HMS Victory took 27
miles of rigging, 4 acres of sails and 6 years to build.The excellent design, her
ity, meant that she was in constant demand during
